Snake Plant Gold Hahnii Sansevieria
-
The 'Golden Hahnii' is a dwarf, highly-coveted cultivar of the classic Snake Plant. This is a miniature, funnel-shaped cultivar with short, broad, pointed leaves that grow in a dense, low rosette, resembling a bird's nest. The foliage features a beautiful marbling of dark green, light gray-green bands, and bold yellow margins.
Like other Snake Plants, it is known for its ability to filter indoor air, removing toxins like formaldehyde and benzene. It is an exceptionally resilient and low-maintenance plant, thriving on neglect, which makes it perfect for beginners or busy plant owners.
-
Bright, indirect light is ideal to maintain the vibrant yellow variegation, but it is highly adaptable and can tolerate lower light levels (growth will be slower in low light).
Allow the soil to completely dry out between waterings. Water less frequently in winter when the plant is dormant.
Use a well-draining soil mix, such as a succulent or cactus potting mix.
This plant should be fertilized once during the growing season (spring/summer) with diluted houseplant fertilizer.
