Sempervivum 'Trazo'

  •  Sempervivum ‘Trazo’ is a medium-sized rosette with a lively mix of green and red tones. The leaves are edged with fine, soft hairs called cilia, which create a delicate fringe around the rosette. In strong sunlight, the red coloring becomes brighter and more intense, giving the plant a bold, eye-catching look.
This variety grows most actively in spring and summer and produces offsets, or “chicks,” on short stolons. Over time, these spread outward to form a tidy cluster or low mat. Mature rosettes may send up a flower stalk in summer. It is very easy to propagate by separating and replanting the offsets, making it a reliable and fast-spreading garden plant.

  •  Filtered / Partial Sun, Full Sun.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 70%-80% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.

Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
