Sempervivum Tomentosum Daluis

  • Sempervivum Tomentosum Daluis or Sempervivum arachnoideum ssp. tomentosum f. Gorges de Daluis is a naturally occurring variety from the French Alps, valued for its soft, alpine character. It forms a small, light green rosette with a gentle touch of red at the base of the leaves, adding just enough contrast to keep it interesting without overpowering its delicate look.

Like other webbed Sempervivum, this variety is wrapped in a dense network of white, spider-web–like cilia that stretch across the rosette. From a distance, it almost looks dusted with snow, giving it a charming, high-mountain feel. Over time, it produces plenty of offsets, slowly building into a tight cluster that feels both wild and beautifully balanced.

  • Filtered / Partial Sun, Full Sun.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 50%-70% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.

Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.

Non-toxic to dogs, cats, and horses (Pet-friendly).
