  •  Sempervivum ‘Hot Summer’ forms a compact rosette with rich forest green leaves shaded with deep maroon. At certain times of the year, the colors can brighten with touches of warm orange, giving the plant a lively, seasonal look. The rosette stays tight and well shaped, making it visually strong even when grown in groups.
     
    This plant grows actively in spring and summer and produces offsets regularly. Over time, these offsets spread around the main rosette to form a neat, dense clump. Growth slows during colder periods, but the plant remains hardy and long-lasting.

    Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 50%-75% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.

    Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
