Sempervivum Colorockz 'Ruby Lime'

  • Sempervivum Colorockz 'Ruby Lime' (Gielis) is a bright and cheerful hens and chicks variety with a fresh lime green rosette that slowly develops deep crimson edges as the seasons change. The contrast between the green center and red margins gives the plant a lively, colorful look that stands out in the garden without feeling too bold.

Hens and Chicks are tough, sun loving succulents that spread naturally outdoors. ‘Ruby Lime’ produces new offsets on short stolons, forming a neat, low mat over time. It gently fills in cracks between stones and bare patches in the garden, making it a wonderful choice for rock gardens and cold hardy landscapes.

  • Filtered / Partial Sun, Full Sun.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 50%-70% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.

Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.

Non-toxic to dogs, cats, and horses (Pet-friendly).

  • Zones 5-10
