Sempervivum Colorockz 'Coral Red'
-
Sempervivum Colorockz ‘Coral Red’ forms compact, symmetrical rosettes in bright shades of coral red with deeper red tones toward the leaf tips. The colors become more intense in strong sunlight, giving the plant a bold, vibrant look that stands out in rock gardens, containers, or succulent arrangements.
This hardy variety grows mainly in spring and summer and produces many small offsets, often called “chicks,” that spread on short stolons to form dense clusters over time. It grows best outdoors in full sun with gritty, well-draining soil. The offsets can be left to create a full mat of rosettes or separated and replanted to grow new plants. -
Filtered / Partial Sun, Full Sun.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 70%-80% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.
Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
