Sedum 'Golden Glow'

  •  Sedum ‘Golden Glow’ (often labeled Sedum adolphi) is a colorful, stem-forming succulent with thick, slightly upturned leaves. The foliage has a glossy lime-green base, and in bright sunlight the leaf tips turn warm orange, creating a glowing, sunset-like effect.
This plant grows with branching stems that lengthen and gently bend as they mature. Over time, it develops a trailing habit, making it especially attractive spilling over the edges of pots or in hanging arrangements. It is drought-tolerant and keeps a bright appearance in well-draining soil. Although it does not always bloom in cultivation, it may produce small, white, star-shaped flowers in winter. These blooms can have a light, pleasant fragrance. The plant is also easy to propagate from stem cuttings or mature leaves once established.

  •  Bright Indoor Light, Full Sun.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 70%-80% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.

Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
