Sedeveria 'Harry Butterfield'
-
Sedeveria ‘Harry Butterfield’, also known as Super Donkey Tail or Giant Burro’s Tail, is a vigorous trailing succulent with long, thick stems covered in large, pointed mint green leaves. The leaves are coated with a soft, powdery layer that gives them a pale, matte look. As the stems grow, they spill beautifully over the edges of pots, making this plant perfect for hanging baskets.
This hybrid grows quickly and can form full, cascading trails over time. Mature plants may produce small flowers during the growing season. It prefers bright light, well-draining soil, and infrequent watering. Propagation is very easy from stem cuttings, which root readily and help the plant stay full and compact. -
Bright Indoor Light, Filtered / Partial Sun.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 70%-80% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.
Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
