Cholla wood is the remnant of a cholla cactus after it dies and can be used as a beautiful natural display for Tillandsias. Cholla cactus wood is made up of a lot of holes and is hollow in the middle, which is perfect for mounting numerous air plants.
Cholla is great for a variety of things--reptiles, hermit crabs, chinchillas, rabbits, aquariums, pleco, shrimp, birds, crafts, air plants, creating biofilm...the list goes on! These are straight cut pieces—meaning no branches and little, to no curves. Even though these are small, they can be used vertically or horizontally. Each piece of wood is different in texture, shape, pattern, and color.
