Pachyveria 'Glauca'
-
Pachyeveria ‘Glauca’ (also known as P. ‘Haagei’) forms a rosette of thick, silvery blue leaves with a soft, powdery coating. This natural wax layer gives the plant a smooth, frosted look and helps protect it in bright sunlight. The chunky leaves grow upright and slightly spaced, creating a looser, open rosette shape.
This hybrid grows steadily and can produce a bloom stalk with small flowers during the growing season. It prefers bright light, excellent drainage, and infrequent watering. It is easy to propagate from both stem cuttings and mature leaves, making it simple to grow and share. -
Bright Indoor Light, Filtered / Partial Sun.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 70%-80% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.
Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
