Mangave 'Permanent Wave'

  • Mangave ‘Permanent Wave’ is a dramatic hybrid succulent with broad, wavy-edged leaves in cool green to blue-green tones. The foliage is heavily speckled with purple spots that become darker and more noticeable in bright sunlight. As it grows, the plant forms a bold, symmetrical rosette that adds strong structure and texture to containers or garden beds.
This variety grows faster than typical Agave and can reach about 18–22 inches tall and 24–30 inches wide when mature. It prefers partial to full sun with well-draining soil and only occasional watering once established. Mangave can tolerate slightly more shade and water than traditional Agave, especially while developing roots, but the soil should still dry between waterings. It can also be grown indoors in bright light if temperatures drop too low.
  • Full Sun.

    Well-draining cactus mix.

Low. Use the "soak and dry" method. Water only when the soil is completely dry to the touch.
  • Zone 9-10
