Mammillaria Limonensis

  •  Mammillaria limonensis is a small, upright cactus with short column-shaped stems. The surface is covered in rounded bumps, and each bump has a cluster of spines. The spines can be fine and white or thicker with a coppery red color, giving the plant a textured and slightly spiky look. As it grows, it produces offsets around the base, forming a small cluster.

This cactus grows slowly and stays compact. In spring, it produces a ring of bright pink flowers around the top of the stem, adding a colorful contrast to the spines. Over time, the base offsets continue to expand the plant into a neat grouping.

  •  Bright Indoor Light, Full Sun.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 70%-80% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.

Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
