Kalanchoe tomentosa 'Teddy Bear'

  •  Kalanchoe tomentosa ‘Teddy Bear’ is a soft, fuzzy succulent with thick, rounded leaves covered in fine hairs. The leaves feel velvety to the touch and give the plant a cute, plush look, similar to a small stuffed toy. As it grows, it forms an upright shape and can reach about 12 inches tall, with a full and sturdy appearance.

This plant grows steadily and keeps its fuzzy look as it matures. In spring or summer, it can produce small, golden-yellow flowers that are also slightly velvety. It can easily grow new plants from stem pieces, making it simple to multiply over time.

  •  Filtered / Partial Sun, Full Sun.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 50%-75% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.

Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
