Kalanchoe fedtschenkoi 'Aurora Borealis'

  •  Kalanchoe fedtschenkoi f. variegata ‘Aurora Borealis’ is a colorful stemmed succulent with eye-catching foliage. The soft green leaves are edged in creamy white to pale yellow variegation, creating a bright contrast. The leaf margins are gently scalloped, and when grown in strong sunlight, the edges can blush pink. As the stems grow longer, they begin to trail, making this plant beautiful in pots or hanging containers.
This variety grows steadily and branches as it matures, forming a loose, spreading shape. In winter, it produces dangling, coral-colored, bell-shaped flowers that hang below the foliage. It can be easily propagated from stem cuttings. Simply trim a healthy stem, let it dry for a short time, then place it in well-draining soil to root and grow into a new plant.

  •  Bright Indoor Light, Full Sun.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 70%-80% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.

Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
