Faucaria tuberculosa

  •  Faucaria tuberculosa is a compact succulent with thick, triangular leaves covered in small bumps, giving them a rough, textured surface. Some plants also have soft teeth or tiny bristle-like tendrils along the leaf edges, adding to their unique look. The leaves grow in tight pairs, forming a low, clumping shape that stays neat and sturdy.
This species grows steadily and forms small clusters over time. From late summer to fall, it produces large, bright yellow flowers that look like dandelions. The blooms open in the afternoon and close again at night, creating a daily display. Native to South Africa, it is admired for both its unusual foliage and showy seasonal flowers.

  •  Bright Indoor Light, Filtered / Partial Sun.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 70%-80% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.

Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
