Fairy Tongue Crassula

  •  Fairy Tongue (Crassula exilis ssp. schmidtii) forms low, clustering rosettes of narrow jade green leaves. The foliage has a smooth, slightly pointed shape, and in bright light the leaves can turn a rich crimson red, creating a strong color contrast. Its compact size makes it perfect for small pots and mixed arrangements.
This plant spreads by forming tight clumps over time. In spring and summer, it can produce small, bright pink flowers that rise just above the foliage. It grows best in bright light with well-draining soil and infrequent watering. Propagation is easy by dividing clumps or using stem cuttings.

  •  Bright Indoor Light, Filtered / Partial Sun.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 70%-80% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.

Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
