Coral Cactus

  • Euphorbia Lactea Cristata (Mermaid Tail Succulent) is a rare crested cactus, is also known as Coral Cactus Succulent. The wavy, coral-like top of the fan-shaped succulent is a mutation of Euphorbia Lactea and then grafted onto the rootstock of another succulent. The branches are attractive blue-grey and the edges of the crests can turn pink when happily stressed.

As the plant matures you can expect it to reach up to 91 cm (36″) tall and about 61 cm (24″) in diameter.

Makes a nice windowsill plant. Perfect for all kinds of containers. May be displayed outdoors in warmer weather.

The sap of Euphorbia Lactea Cristata is toxic, so protection is needed when propagating this succulent. Make sure that the sap doesn't get in touch with your skin or eye because it can cause serious irritation.

Plants may be shipped bare root.
