Echeveria setosa

Product image 1

Echeveria setosa

  • Echeveria setosa var. setosa forms a soft, lime to deep green rosette covered in fine, silvery hairs. The fuzzy coating gives the plant a frosted, almost snowy look, especially thick near the center of the rosette. The leaves are rounded and slightly pointed, creating a full, symmetrical shape.
This variety blooms in late spring or summer with bright flowers in shades of lemon yellow and cherry red. It grows best in bright sunlight to stay compact and colorful. Over time, it produces offsets around the base that can be left to form a clump or separated and replanted. It can also be propagated from mature leaves or stem cuttings, making it an easy plant to multiply.

  •  Bright Indoor Light, Filtered / Partial Sun.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 70%-80% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.

Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
