Echeveria 'Salsa Verde'
-
Echeveria ‘Salsa Verde’ forms a compact rosette of bright lime green leaves with a smooth, fleshy texture. In strong light, the leaf edges can develop a soft pink to red blush, adding a subtle contrast to the vivid green center. The thick leaves grow in a neat, symmetrical pattern, giving the plant a fresh and lively appearance.
As it matures, it may produce a bloom stalk with small flowers during the growing season. The plant can also form offsets around the base, which can be left to create a fuller cluster or removed and replanted. It grows best in bright sunlight with well-draining soil and infrequent watering once the soil has fully dried. -
Bright Indoor Light, Filtered / Partial Sun.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 70%-80% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.
Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
