Beneath the rosettes, the stems are also fuzzy and can branch out, creating a gentle, textured appearance as the plant grows. 
This plant grows steadily and stays relatively compact at the rosette level, while the stems slowly lengthen over time. It often blooms in winter, sending up arching stalks with many orange, bell-shaped flowers. ‘Frosty’ is easy to propagate from stem cuttings, which also makes it simple to keep the plant neat and well shaped.
