Echeveria agavoides 'Martin's Hybrid'
-
Echeveria agavoides ‘Martin’s Hybrid’ forms a bold rosette with long, narrow, pointed leaves that grow upright in a clean, architectural shape. The foliage is soft green with creamy tones, and in bright sunlight the leaf tips develop vivid pink highlights. With time and good growing conditions, the rosette can grow over 12 inches wide, creating a striking centerpiece. These extra large cuttings measure about 4.5–8 inches in diameter.
This variety grows as a single rosette and may produce tall bloom stalks with colorful flowers during the growing season. Over time it can also form offsets around the base. It grows best in bright sunlight with very well-draining soil and infrequent watering once the soil has fully dried. It can also be propagated from stem cuttings or mature leaves. -
Bright Indoor Light, Filtered / Partial Sun.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 70%-80% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.
Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
