Dieffenbachia 'Camouflage'

  • The Dieffenbachia 'Camouflage' is a stunning cultivar of the Dieffenbachia genus, commonly known as Dumb Cane. Like other Dieffenbachia varieties, this plant is native to the tropical regions of Central and South America, where it thrives in the partial shade of the rainforest undergrowth.

The plant is primarily grown for its spectacular foliage. Its large, bold, sword-shaped leaves feature a striking variegation pattern of dark green, pale green, and cream spots and flecks, resembling a sophisticated "camouflage" print.

  • Bright, indirect light is ideal to keep the variegation vibrant. It can tolerate medium and lower light but may become leggy and less colorful.

Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry to the touch. Keep the soil evenly moist but never waterlogged.

    A well-draining, peat-based potting mix is best.

This plant should be fertilized once during the growing season (spring/summer) with diluted houseplant fertilizer.
