Aloe lineata 'Blue Strap Form'

  • Aloe lineata ‘Blue Strap Form’ begins growth in a fan shape, with leaves arranged in two neat rows. As it matures, the leaves can spiral into a loose, open rosette. The foliage is a soft blue-green with a smooth surface, and the edges are lined with small coral pink teeth that stand out against the cool leaf color. This plant is fully rooted in a 3.5" pot.
With time, it can grow into a larger, sculptural plant. In late winter to early spring, it may produce tall flower stalks with red-orange blooms. It prefers bright light, excellent drainage, and infrequent watering. Allow the soil to dry fully between waterings to keep the plant healthy and compact.

  • Filtered / Partial Sun, Full Sun.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 70%-80% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.

Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
