Aloe 'Firecracker'
-
Aloe ‘Firecracker’ is a compact, clustering aloe with bold mosaic coloring in lime green, bubblegum pink, and creamy white. The thick leaves are covered in raised bumps and lined with small teeth, giving the plant a dramatic, textured look while still being safe to handle. The bright colors become more intense in strong sunlight, making it a standout in any collection.
Over time, it forms a neat cluster as it produces new offsets around the base. Mature plants may send up a tall bloom stalk with tubular flowers during the growing season. It thrives in bright light with excellent drainage and infrequent watering, allowing the soil to dry fully between waterings. -
Filtered / Partial Sun, Full Sun.
Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 70%-80% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.
Water infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the rosette to prevent rot.
